Mission and values

In this interview, mobilverde’s managing director Dr Jürgen Kostka answers some questions about the company’s mission and values.

Dr Kostka, what does mobilverde stand for?

J Kostka: “As a technology company, we support our customers with integrated solutions, from conception to delivery of the finished products to their global manufacturing sites. Based on our many years’ experience in the automotive, aviation and industry fields, the company was founded in 2010 with the objective of supplying our customers with innovative, cost-effective and high quality products. Our expertise lies in the areas die casting, CNC processing, plastic injection molding, stamping technology and permanent magnets. Based on these areas of expertise, we are today in a position to offer our customers complete system solutions. Our customers include globally active medium-sized companies and larger corporations, who we supply worldwide.”

mobilverde is able to draw upon an extensive international cooperation network. What objective do you pursue in the international market?

J Kostka: “Working together with our customers, production facilities and logistics partners, we want to make a decisive contribution to worldwide supply in the business areas automotive, aviation, industry and special OEM, and with innovative, cost-effective and high quality products.”

How is mobilverde achieving this objective?

J Kostka: “On the one hand, we can draw upon precise knowledge of international markets in the sectors in which we operate. As a result, we are ideally placed to orientate ourselves to our customers’ needs, and so fulfil their expectations. And on the other, we have the relevant technical knowhow. We are therefore in a position to support our customers from conception to delivery of the finished product. A further decisive factor lies in our personal consultations and our availability for our customers. We are there when we are needed.”

In the upstream market, operation on an international level is a fundamental requirement. What benefits arise from this?

J Kostka: “We are able to offer our customers competitive terms and at the same time the highest quality. One reason for this is our many years’ working with worldwide production sites, and the resulting knowledge of market processes in the various countries. But our excellent relationships with our customers and suppliers represent a much more important foundation. These relationships have been built up over many years, and have developed into trusting partnerships.”

When supplying the automotive, aviation and industrial sectors, the very highest quality requirements apply. What measures does mobilverde take in order to fulfil these requirements?

J Kostka: “It is true that these sectors place great demands on suppliers. That is completely understandable. We respond to these demands for the highest quality, making them the basis of our actions. In practice, this means that we are certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Our external production sites are similarly certified to the standards important in their respective areas, such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, NADCAP or ISO 14001, and which guarantee the highest quality in respect of production processes and products. Furthermore, close contact, plus regular audits at the individual sites, ensures that they always work to the same high quality standards.”

The above-mentioned sectors not only make high quality demands of the products, but also of suppliers. How does mobilverde understand being able to supply customers in demanding international markets with the right solutions?

J Kostka: “As well as the high demands we make of our services, we also have a multinational team that combines many years’ experience in worldwide supply with commercial knowhow and technical expertise. This means we are adept at working with technically complex products and seamlessly integrating them into production chains.”

Corporate social responsibility is an important topic. How does mobilverde combine economic efficiency with responsible actions?

J Kostka: “We think beyond the here and now, and strive for long-term relationships that benefit all involved. This corresponds with our self-image. Part of this is naturally that we are socially committed and promote charitable institutions. We regularly award contracts to the Lebenshilfe, which is a self-help organisation for people with learning disabilities here in Germany. People with learning disabilities undertake assembly and packaging work for us. What’s more, we support the work of Rotary International, and plan to support projects in the countries in which we are active. The intention is to not only profit from one another commercially, but also to make a contribution to international understanding – even if only on a small scale.
