Your duties:
- Planning and organization of the transport of goods (packaging, shipping method, etc.)
- Disposition and division of freight
- Request for offers and negotiation with carriers
- Booking of cargo space
- Creation of all relevant transport documents
- Correspondence with customers and notification of the shipping status
- Ensuring smooth, timely and efficient order processing
Your skills:
- Several years of professional experience in the field
- Knowledge of the most important transport companies and routes, national and international
- Profound knowledge of shipping processing and customs clearance
- Knowledge of the relevant regulations
- Very good IT, ERP and MS Office skills
- Business fluent in German and English
- Good communication skills and negotiating skills
- Able to work efficiently and meet deadlines even under deadline pressure
- Structured and precise work
